Posting After Re-Discovering My Postings

I forgot this page existed. It dawned on me, while reading through Genesis 1 and considering journaling, to see if this old site was still up. And, there it is. Much has happened since that last post. Got married - 10 years into that; started school again (Computer Science Master's program) - the feeling that I didn't want to get back into a classroom after finishing the MDiv has clearly worn off, and Obama's stimulus did drastically increase our national debt. Today, however, although institutions and regulations were established to help prevent a similar housing disaster, Wall Street hasn't really learned its lesson. The money with which they were bailed out then, and the tax breaks recently granted to them by Donald Trump (our current president), has only led to greater corporate indebtedness and, potentially, may lead to a different type of financial crisis. We'll see.
